Our Story
ONMetro was created by veteran internet entrepreneur Steve Holmes, who launched his first Digital City back in 1995. That early site went on to win Best Website in Illinois (1998) and 2nd Best Website in Iowa (1998). Even then, his guiding slogan was “We Think and Link Communities.”
That same philosophy drives ON Digital Publishing and OnMetro today — connecting communities through modern, high-quality digital platforms that give people, businesses, and organizations a voice.
